Hey, your game looks pretty interesting. I was wondering if you have any more information about it aside from a facebook page as I don’t have a facebook account.
Cheers and good luck with the game!

It’s the same info on the Facebook. Can I spill more light on the game for you?
What else would you like to know?

Will this be opensource or proprietary?

thank you ppl !
Anonymous, this is commercial venture. We decided to release Episode I for free and Episode II will be sold. The engine is under GPL already, the game code will be released under CC and later down the road we might re-release it as GPL too. The art of course will remain proprietary.

You should let funders play your alpha/beta. If you let me pre-order and then give me access to all the playable builds along the way, I would love it.

We would love to do that, but there are only few funders and we haven’t been receiving much donations lately.
As I explained before, we are going to stop asking for donations. Instead, we are releasing Episode I for free. This way you can enjoy your single player and multiplayer experience before you will invest into Episode II.
Going episodic seems just right thing to do as it will cost less and will allow continuous flow of new content on rather frequent basis.

motorsep, thanks for clarification, the fact you’re going to release the source is really inspiring. Not sure that CC is applicable to code though…

Hmm.. I am not sure what license can be applied to the game code (it’s a script basically). Eventually it will be GPL’ed, but for mean while we don’t want for people to use it in their commercial endeavors.

Hi, I just got an email about steel storm: burning retribution, and it said something about some missing translations (for english, I suppose).
I’ve worked on translations on launchpad.net (translating from english to spanish) and some other projects, and I’d really like to help translate this game to spanish, and I’d do it for free
Let me know if I can help with that.

Hi,
This is quite strange because Spanish is supplied with the game. Thank you though for offering help
Cheers.
